Mileage rates in the Netherlands
The untaxed travel allowance is 25 cents a kilometre from 1 January 2026, up from 23 cents. The same figure is what the self-employed deduct per business kilometre.

How a claim is worked out
Take 12.000 kilometres of business travel in the Netherlands. The bands apply in order, so each one is charged at its own rate rather than the whole distance at the top rate.
